Muchos a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s, en 1935, el Consejo Nacional de Educaci\u00f3n eligi\u00f3 una fecha para homenajear a la insignia y decret\u00f3 que fuera el 18 de mayo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El D\u00eda de la Escarapela figura en el calendario escolar de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, con la premisa de \u201cfortalecer nuestra identidad como Naci\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s de los s\u00edmbolos patrios. Conocer su historia y significado\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El origen de la escarapela tiene vital importancia en la historia argentina porque fue el primero de los s\u00edmbolos patrios en nacer y, adem\u00e1s, marc\u00f3 el camino: tras su aprobaci\u00f3n, Belgrano dise\u00f1\u00f3 una bandera con los mismos colores; \u00e9sa que iz\u00f3 por primera vez a orillas del r\u00edo Paran\u00e1, en Rosario, el 27 de febrero de 1812.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El escudo y el himno, los otros dos s\u00edmbolos de nuestro pa\u00eds, aparecieron un a\u00f1o despu\u00e9s.
