Harris convoc\u00f3 a tres amigos (un ingeniero de minas, un vendedor de carb\u00f3n y un mercader de telas)&nbsp;a una reuni\u00f3n. Ten\u00eda en mente crear un club que pudiera&nbsp;encender la camarader\u00eda entre los hombres de negocios de la comunidad, idea que naci\u00f3 de su deseo de encontrar en las grandes ciudades la clase de esp\u00edritu de amistad que \u00e9l hab\u00eda conocido en el pueblo donde hab\u00eda crecido.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esa reuni\u00f3n fue, de hecho, la primera del club rotario del mundo. Luego fueron sum\u00e1ndose otros miembros al grupo y&nbsp;sus reuniones fueron rot\u00e1ndose entre las casas y lugares de trabajo.
