La investigaci\u00f3n incluy\u00f3 tres puntos geogr\u00e1ficos de La Plata.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sheila Ons, Mar\u00eda Victoria Micieli y Nicol\u00e1s Barrera-Illanes son investigadoras y becario del CONICET La Plata que en los \u00faltimos d\u00edas realizaron una investigaci\u00f3n por la cual descubrieron por primera vez en el AMBA poblaciones de mosquitos resistentes a los insecticidas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las fumigaciones realizadas con insecticidas de tipo piretroides, que atacan una prote\u00edna ubicada en las membranas de las neuronas a las que estimulan hasta provocar par\u00e1lisis o la muerte, ya no son letales para mosquitos Aedes aegypti, transmisor del virus del dengue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abHay tres genotipos o variedades gen\u00e9ticas: el sensible, es decir el de aquellos individuos que son alcanzados por el efecto del insecticida y mueren por volteo; el R1, que tiene una mutaci\u00f3n que los hace resistentes pero en un nivel bajo; y el R2, que presenta dos mutaciones y se asocia a una resistencia alta. En los asentamientos urbanos del Gran Buenos Aires encontramos poblaciones R1, que en muchos municipios incluso superan en cantidad a las sensibles. La situaci\u00f3n en el NOA (Noroeste argentino) es m\u00e1s complicada: all\u00ed detectamos grupos R2\u201d, explica Sheila Ons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los expertos aseguran que proviene de Brasil, pa\u00eds con una extensa presencia de poblaciones del insecto altamente resistentes a los venenos: \u00abTodo comienza con una persona que viaja y lo contrae. Cuando vuelve, es picada por otro mosquito que en ese momento se infecta y que sigue picando mientras en su interior el virus cumple un ciclo de 14 d\u00edas, con lo cual es una din\u00e1mica exponencial, que va aumentando a lo largo del tiempo. La \u00fanica manera de bloquear este proceso es matando a los mosquitos infectados\u201d, se\u00f1ala Mar\u00eda Victoria Micieli. El problema, y lo que motiv\u00f3 el trabajo, es el uso incorrecto e indiscriminado de la herramienta de control del vector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La investigaci\u00f3n, que se desarroll\u00f3 en el marco de la Red Argentina de Vigilancia de la Resistencia a los Plaguicidas de uso en Salud P\u00fablica (RAReP), incluy\u00f3 tres puntos geogr\u00e1ficos de La Plata: la zona del ex zool\u00f3gico o Bioparque, el cementerio municipal y la localidad de Arturo Segu\u00ed. \u201cEn estos lugares encontramos el genotipo R1, pero todav\u00eda la mayor\u00eda de los mosquitos son sensibles\u201d, relata Ons.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El problema habr\u00eda iniciado en Brasil y se extendi\u00f3 a nuestra regi\u00f3n.
