Ya fue aprobado por ANMAT y estar\u00e1 a disposici\u00f3n de los laboratorios en las pr\u00f3ximas semanas. \u201cEstamos produciendo el primer lote y lo vamos a entregar de manera gratuita a personas interesadas. A partir de ah\u00ed nos lanzaremos al mercado en general\u201d, explica a la Agencia de Noticias Cient\u00edficas de la UNQ el bioqu\u00edmico H\u00e9ctor Magno Quiroz, director de Investigaci\u00f3n y Desarrollo de la empresa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>C\u00f3mo funciona<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Para arrojar luz al respecto, Quiroz detalla que el kit es un test cualitativo en un solo paso, que provee los reactivos necesarios para la transcripci\u00f3n inversa, la amplificaci\u00f3n y la detecci\u00f3n de regiones espec\u00edficas de los tipos 1, 2, 3 y 4 del virus dengue. \u201cFunciona mediante la t\u00e9cnica de RT-PCR en tiempo real, a partir de muestras de ARN extra\u00eddas de suero humano, para el diagn\u00f3stico de dengue y vigilancia epidemiol\u00f3gica\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seg\u00fan detalla, el kit utiliza enzimas que s\u00f3lo son activadas con altas temperaturas. \u201cEsto reduce la posibilidad de reacciones inespec\u00edficas durante la preparaci\u00f3n del ensayo\u201d. Adem\u00e1s, incluye los componentes necesarios para la amplificaci\u00f3n del gen RNasa P humana, a modo de control interno, que permite identificar una posible inhibici\u00f3n de la reacci\u00f3n de PCR, detectar inconvenientes en el proceso de extracci\u00f3n y purificaci\u00f3n de \u00e1cidos nucleicos y verificar el correcto desempe\u00f1o del kit. En ese sentido, para amplificar y detectar el genoma viral, se dise\u00f1aron cebadores y sondas espec\u00edficas \u201cque permiten una mejor identificaci\u00f3n\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El flamante desarrollo fue realizado \u00edntegramente por un equipo interdisciplinario de I+D de Biocient\u00edfica y ampl\u00eda el portfolio de la l\u00ednea Schep para diagn\u00f3stico molecular de enfermedades infecciosas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Biocient\u00edfica: una apuesta por el conocimiento<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Esta empresa argentina fue fundada por el Dr. Roberto Sedlinsky con el objetivo de desarrollar, producir y comercializar en Argentina reactivos de diagn\u00f3stico in vitro para enfermedades humanas. Los primeros productos estuvieron destinados al diagn\u00f3stico de enfermedades autoinmunes e infecciosas poco frecuentes o de dif\u00edcil detecci\u00f3n y medici\u00f3n de prote\u00ednas plasm\u00e1ticas de inter\u00e9s cl\u00ednico. Pero gracias a los avances de las t\u00e9cnicas de laboratorio, en 2002 inauguraron la divisi\u00f3n de biolog\u00eda molecular y comenzaron la fabricaci\u00f3n de kits para diagn\u00f3stico molecular.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En 2020 lanzaron una plataforma de diagn\u00f3stico por biolog\u00eda molecular, a trav\u00e9s del kit de diagn\u00f3stico in vitro \u201cSchep SARS-CoV-2 RT-PCR Duo\u201d, para el diagn\u00f3stico de COVID-19. Y luego dise\u00f1aron \u201cSchep SARS-CoV-2 Multi-FAST\u201d, en formato r\u00e1pido de multiplex. \u201cHoy, nuestro departamento de I+D est\u00e1 desarrollando cuatro nuevos productos para detecci\u00f3n de enfermedades virales por PCR en tiempo real\u201d, destaca el director I+D de Biocient\u00edfica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Un problema de salud mundial<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El dengue pertenece al g\u00e9nero Flavivirus y se transmite a partir del mosquito Aedes aegypti. Se estima que cada a\u00f1o se producen 50 millones de infecciones. En el resto del mundo, este virus representa una de las causas de enfermedad febril entre los viajeros que regresan de \u00e1reas subtropicales del Caribe, Latinoam\u00e9rica y Asia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La infecci\u00f3n puede cursar de forma asintom\u00e1tica o manifestarse con un amplio espectro cl\u00ednico que va desde las formas inaparentes o febriles con dolores de cuerpo a formas graves que incluyen al choque y alteraci\u00f3n de la hemostasia con hemorragia o sin ella.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En ese sentido, es clave detectar el virus lo antes posible y poder realizar un diagn\u00f3stico eficiente y preciso para la atenci\u00f3n cl\u00ednica.
