Hoy se celebra un nuevo aniversario de Parques Nacionales y se contin\u00faa trabajando para honrar el legado del Perito Moreno.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La historia de nuestras \u00e1reas protegidas comienza hace 118 a\u00f1os, cuando el perito Francisco Moreno cedi\u00f3 a la Naci\u00f3n tres leguas cuadradas (unas 7500 hect\u00e1reas) de su propiedad ubicadas en cercan\u00edas de Laguna Fr\u00edas y Puerto Blest, al oeste del lago Nahuel Huapi, con el fin que fueran \u201cconsagradas como parque p\u00fablico natural\u201d, tal como escribi\u00f3 en la carta de donaci\u00f3n fechada el 6 de noviembre de 1903.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La donaci\u00f3n fue aceptada el 11 de febrero del a\u00f1o siguiente estableciendo el n\u00facleo primitivo de las \u00e1reas protegidas nacionales a trav\u00e9s de lo que fuera conocido como el \u201cParque Nacional del Sur\u201d. Y treinta y un a\u00f1os m\u00e1s tarde se crear\u00eda en las tierras donadas por Moreno el que hoy conocemos como Parque Nacional Nahuel Huapi<br>(que en mapuche significa \u201cIsla de Tigre\u201d), tal cual se lo conoce actualmente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A pesar de que ese mismo a\u00f1o tambi\u00e9n se cre\u00f3 el Parque Nacional Iguaz\u00fa, ambos complejos naturales iban a quedar formalmente oficializados como los dos primeros parques nacionales argentinos reci\u00e9n en el a\u00f1o 1934, gracias a la sanci\u00f3n de la ley 12.103. Esta ley tambi\u00e9n estableci\u00f3 la creaci\u00f3n de la Administraci\u00f3n General de Parques Nacionales y Turismo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cvinoticias.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/FB_IMG_1633818962848.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"634\" height=\"960\" data-src=\"https:\/\/cvinoticias.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/FB_IMG_1633818962848.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10372 lazyload\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/cvinoticias.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/FB_IMG_1633818962848.jpg 634w, https:\/\/cvinoticias.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/FB_IMG_1633818962848-198x300.jpg 198w\" data-sizes=\"(max-width: 634px) 100vw, 634px\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 634px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 634\/960;\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>De esta manera, la Argentina se convert\u00eda en el primer pa\u00eds de toda Am\u00e9rica latina, y el tercero en el mundo en crear un parque nacional. Y por eso, cada 6 de noviembre se celebra el D\u00eda de los Parques Nacionales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las \u00e1reas protegidas cumplen funciones de relevancia en la conservaci\u00f3n de recursos naturales y culturales. Son sectores del territorio continental o marino de gran valor en cuanto a su biodiversidad y belleza esc\u00e9nica, en ellas est\u00e1n limitadas las actividades humanas, contando con un estatus de protecci\u00f3n legal. Argentina ha sido un pa\u00eds pionero en la regi\u00f3n, y de los primeros tambi\u00e9n en el mundo, en materia de creaci\u00f3n de Parques Nacionales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan datos oficiales de la Administraci\u00f3n de Parques Nacionales en la Argentina existen 48 areas protegidas, de las cuales 46 se encuentran en territorio continental y las dos restantes en la superficie marina.
